At Mighty Fortress, our mission is to protect playtime.

In a world where technology is increasingly taking our time and attention, we offer a fun and innovative solution to help preserve and protect play-based childhood.  

 

As a Mechanical Engineer and a father of three, I was unable to find a fort kit that could stand up to my young childrens’ active play. I used my engineering background to create a strong and stable fort kit that would make it through the day and beyond. Our proprietary, patent-pending clips make assembly fun and easy, so building is enjoyable and playtime is maximized. Our fort kits are made with sturdy materials, extruded polystyrene between clay coated paper, to ensure kids can enjoy our forts, build after build - no tools needed!

My wife, Melissa, is a trained elementary educator. She helped me understand and value the need for STEM and STEAM-based learning in kids. We aim to empower parents, caregivers, and educators alike to help kids realize the benefits of STEM in a fun, engaging way. In fact, for every 200 kits sold, we donate two kits to a school with a STEM or STEAM program. We eventually hope to donate to pediatric hospitals, after school organizations, and more.

Mighty Fortress is assembled without tools. Imagination is the only “tool” required.
